Someone discovered some of my early work in the publication The Majesty of Savannah. Photography and text by Peter Beney. I recreated the stencil ceiling in the dining room of the Thomas Levy house in Savannah GA.
The Thomas Levy House is a historic building located at 12 East Taylor Street in Savannah, Georgia, United States. It is situated in the northeastern residential block of Monterey Square and is part of the Savannah Historic District. The building, which comprises the western half of a Second Empire baroque townhouse known as the Thomas Purse Duplex, was completed in 1869 for Daniel Remshart Thomas, a Savannah native. It was originally built by Thomas and Captain Daniel Gugel Purse Sr., with Purse owning the adjacent property at number 14.
